Newsletter - Q3 2018

Where has this year gone? We can't believe we are heading into November! Q3 has been extremely busy for Zenith Energy, with ongoing live operations happening in Egypt, Greece and well operator planning for the Southern North Sea project in the UK. We have welcomed some new people, celebrated six years in business and raised vital funds for charity. We hope you enjoy catching up with our news.

SDX Energy four well project in Egypt

We recently successfully completed an engineering project management contract for our client SDX Energy, based in Cairo for four onshore wells. The project consisted of two appraisal and two exploration wells. Our project team were based full-time in the Cairo office, with support from management and staff in the Aberdeen head office.

This project was following the successful completion of work for the same company in 2017.

GSP SRL work progresses

Zenith Energy is currently working live with operations on the GSP Epsilon project taking place offshore Greece. We successfully recruited several skilled experts to work on this project.

Reservoir drilling within the first section is taking place on the first well expected within two-three weeks, after which work will commence on the second well.

Zenith is contracted to provide GSP with well engineering and offshore supervision expertise for the drilling and completion of three development wells, including subsea template installation, platform install, tie back operations and multi-lateral reservoir penetrations.

Zenith celebrates a successful six years in business

Six years ago we started Zenith Energy as a two-person business. The vision was an independent well management company owned and managed by engineers, focused on delivering the correct technical and commercial solutions for our clients. Today, we are an organisation of 50 employees, with offices in Aberdeen, UAE and Perth Australia. We have worked with more than 40 clients in over 25 countries across 70 projects. This year we will be involved in the drilling of up to 10 wells internationally ranging from onshore development wells, jack-up development wells and deep-water exploration. In addition, we have several UK projects for 2019 where Zenith has been appointed as well operator.

We are the champions!

Zenith was delighted to be crowned the charity champions at the Friends of Anchor Wipeout event. Over 25 teams took part in the sporting challenges which included giant inflatable obstacle courses over water, to help raise vital funds for the The Friends of Anchor Unit. The event was a huge success raising over £60,000 for the charity.

We also held a coffee morning at our headquarters in Aberdeen to help raise funds and with various donations received through our JustGiving page and on the day, we ended up raising over £2,000 for the charity and were crowned the charity champions of 2018.

We would like to thank everyone who came along to our coffee morning and donated to a very worth cause.
